HARC 2025 Basic Amateur Radio Course
Interested in getting your Amateur Radio License? The Halifax Amateur Radio Club (HARC) is hosting its annual Basic Course, starting this March! This is your opportunity to explore the world of ham radio, learn from experienced instructors, and join a thriving community of radio enthusiasts.
Course Details:
- Course: Amateur Radio Basic Qualification (Based on COAX 9th Edition Study Guide)
- Duration: 11 weeks (10 weeks of instruction + 1 week for the exam)
- Start Date: Saturday, March 15, 2025
- Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 or 2:00 PM (depending on lecture length)
- Location: Fire Station 50, 2050 Hammonds Plains
- Cost: $30 (Free if you’ve previously taken the course through HARC)
- Study Guide: $50 (Available through HARC if needed)
