Jamboree on the Air (JOTA)

Scouts and Cubs from HRM attended the Amateur Radio Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) https://www.jotajoti.info/jota on HMCS Sackville and CSS Acadia on 18 October, 2025.
Contacts were made as far away as Australia (over the web on digital radio), and France using old-fashioned High Frequency radio. In addition to operating the radios in both ships, the Scouts/Cubs had a tour of Sackville, including the engine room with the engine running.
