Field Day 2023
The Halifax Amateur Radio Club recently organized a successful Field Day at the Hammond Plains Fire Station, despite facing challenges with the airwaves and bands. We extend our gratitude to the hams who participated and helped make valuable contacts, as well as those who contributed to organizing and supporting the event.
Despite the difficulties, the Halifax Amateur Radio Club demonstrated adaptability and resourcefulness in overcoming technical setbacks. The event fostered a sense of camaraderie and community, emphasizing the importance of lasting friendships and strengthening of the amateur radio community in Halifax. The experience provided valuable insights and lessons for the club’s future events, highlighting the need for preparedness and perseverance.
