Transforming Radio Amateurs of Canada

At the Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC) Annual General Meeting in Halifax on 6 August, President Geoff Bawden, VE4BAW, officially launched RAC’s transformation process. The intent of which is to provide context and set the stage – specifically, the why, how and what of RAC’s transformation. His presentation can be seen here.

Discussion of this process is going on at the Radio Amateurs of Canada Blog, and an introduction to the transformation process can be found here.

John Bartlett, VE1OZ/HK3OZ, has been working on a process of change for RAC and has written a series of articles about it. They have been integrated into a single document which you can download here: RAC's Transformation.pdf.

Scott Wood, VE1QD, gave a presentation about this process at the HARC general meeting on September 15th. His power point presentation, speaking notes and a follow-up questionnaire can be viewed or downloaded by clicking here:

You are urged to fill out and submit the questionnaire to Scott. The results will be passed on to RAC as input for a Strategic Planning meeting to be held in late October.
