Brit Fader Memorial QSL Bureau
Brit Fader, VE1FQ, ran the VE1 and VE0 QSL bureau for over 49 years. He was Mr. QSL and Mr. Field Day for many of those years.
You can check your account status here.
The QSL Bureau was aquired by the Halifax Amateur Radio Club and respectfully named the Brit Fader Memorial QSl Bureau in honour of VE1FQ. It is headed up by Tom Caithness, VE1GTC. For specific questions about the QSL Bureau, email Tom VE1GTC.
The funds used by the bureau cover the costs for mailing the cards plus the HST. On top of the postal costs, the bureau charges $.50 per mail out to cover the running costs of the bureau, which includes $204.00 for the post office box, labels, envelopes, printer ribbons, tape, etc. In the past, the surcharge was used to reduce the deficit which we acquired from the past VE1, VE0, VE9, VY2 bureau. This deficit has now been paid off and we will be looking at reducing the surcharge this summer after a few more mailings.
Cards are only mailed if there are sufficient funds to do so. Please keep your account active. $10 is usually sufficient to do mailings. Send funds to:

IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ
The QSL bureau has thousands of unclaimed cards sitting in the bureau collecting dust. There are 1100 calls with over 10,000 cards that can't go anywhere. It's important that every ham visiting this site check for cards under their call or past calls. If there are any there, you have two choices....send money to get them by contacting Tom VE1GTC, or call Tom VE1GTC (902) 477-7081 and TELL him you don't want them. Otherwise, they will not be dealt with. Not contributing money means you won't get them, not even in person.
Again, if you are not interested in cards, please be courteous to Tom and indicate that to him. Your co-operation is appreciated.
