For those wishing to qualify for operation on CW (continuous wave) a special tutorial will be
arranged to teach the use and enjoyment of Morse code. Sessions will be arranged once
the class has begun and a mutually convenient time and place can be selected. There are
currently two ways for amateur license candidates to obtain full high frequency operating
privileges. One is to pass the Basic Radio Exam with honours (80%). The other way involves
passing the Basic Radio Exam (70%) and qualifying in sending and receiving Morse code
at the rate of 5 wpm.
