Connect with 2024 Youth on the Air (YOTA) Attendees!

We’re excited to introduce a fun and engaging YOTA card game for all hams to play and connect with 2024 Youth on the Air (YOTA) attendees. This activity is designed to foster communication and camaraderie among HARC hams and campers. Here’s how it works:

How to Play

  1. Download Your YOTA Card: Visit the HARC website to download your YOTA card. The card features both YOTA campers and HARC stations.
  2. Make Contacts: The goal is to connect with the hams featured on your bingo card. You can achieve this by making wireless QSOs (contacts) on any band and using any method. As long as a QSO occurs between you and the person on your card, it counts!
  3. Complete Rows or Full Card: Participants have until the next YOTA camp to complete either one row of contacts or all the contacts on the card.
  4. Submit Your Card: Once you’ve completed your card, submit it to our club email address. The first camper to complete their card will win the final prize! executive@halifax-arc.org

Important Details

  • Any Band, Any Method: All bands and methods are valid for this game, ensuring everyone can participate regardless of their preferred mode of communication.
  • Submission: Finished cards should be submitted via the club email address listed on the HARC website.
  • Deadline: The game runs until the next YOTA camp, giving you plenty of time to make those valuable contacts.
